Job Summary:

Provide general assistance and editorial support for departmental staff, assisting in day-to-day management print titles (25 annually).

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain project files and records, including data entry and generation of reports.
2. Maintain regular contact with editors, contributors, and key vendors.
3. Handle general mail and telephone requests and inquiries.
4. Process contracts and payment requests and track expenses against budget.
5. Provide competition and/or photo research assistance as needed.
6. Prepare manuscripts for editorial review, and assist in routing and tracking flow of manuscripts.
7. Assist with reviewing manuscripts and proofing books at various production cycles.
