Copy Editor, TIME magazine

Description: Reads copy for grammar, punctuation, spelling, sense, clarity and magazine style. Works with writers, editors, reporters and designers. Must be available for evening and night work. The position is temporary, 20 to 35 hours a week, with the possibility of project or permanent status.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have outstanding copyediting skills and at least three years of magazine experience. Knowledge of Quark XPress or InDesign is necessary. Must be able to handle a heavy copy flow accurately and efficiently on deadline.
