This blog is written by Andy Bull. He does four things. They are: training journalists, editorial consultancy, editing and writing.
His background covers newspapers, magazines and websites. He's an experienced editor who has worked at a senior level at The Times, The Independent, The Mail on Sunday and The Sunday Express.
He created and edited contract-published magazines in Conde Nast's New Business department. At The Times he originated and edited a range of circulation-building special magazines.
His web experience includes re-launching and editing The Times Online, and being Editorial Director of AOL UK.
His journalism training experience includes creating syllabuses for the National Council for the Training of Journalists in Online Journalism, Sports Journalism, Business Journalism, Photography and Distance Learning. He has also taught on a Periodical Publishers' Association accredited, fast-track Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism.
