Description:

APIs need to be reformatted and migrated into DocStudio. The documentation needs to be cleaned up.

Programmer Editor will copy edit and proof for voice, tone and overall style. No programming knowledge needed.

The PE will be responsible for editing Programmer documentation for a software development audience. They will work closely with Programmer Writers and/or Technical Writers. The Programmer Editor acts as a technical resource for other Editors on the team. Performing edits for organization, content, technical accuracy, and style. Responsible for exercising good judgment on assessing the level of edit a project requires at every stage in the process. Follows corporate legal guidelines to create accurate copyright pages and add trademarks to product names. They will participate in creating word lists on strategic technologies for corporate distribution, as needed. Reviews corporate style guide for technical accuracy, as needed.
