Job Requirements: The Doyle Group, a 28-year-old publishing company, seeks an organized individual to provide support for news-gathering activities for healthcare profession Web sites. The successful candidate will provide editorial and administrative support to the Online Editor. In addition to excellent writing and editing skills, the candidate must have an understanding of what works in online environment, and experience selecting and writing news and distributing press releases.

Responsibilities include:
? Helping develop news and editorial content for specific sections of the Web sites
? Copyediting, fact-checking, and link-checking
? Compiling information and preparing lists, directories, calendars, etc.
? Posting content to Web sites daily using CMS technology

Ideal candidate has the following:
? Coursework or degree in communication, journalism, or similar subject
? Editorial experience editing and writing for newspapers or magazines
? Basic knowledge of small business, chiropractic, massage, and CAM
? Skill in Microsoft Office programs (PC-based)
? Understanding of Web technologies and content-management systems such as Joomla
? Detail-oriented
? Ability to meet deadlines
