The Developmental Editor II position is within Higher Education's Science, Engineering and Math (SEM) group, a division of McGraw-Hill Education. This position will support the Math Discipline and is located in the Burr Ridge, IL office. Developmental Editors are responsible for insuring the successful, profitable publication of specific assigned textbooks by working closely with authors, academic editors, editorial, production, marketing, permissions. Requirements: Masters in mathematics preferred 1-3 years of mathematics teaching experience preferred (Secondary or Higher Education) Excellent mathematical skills/background preferred. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; knowledge of PowerPoint and Access a plus. Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work flow is crucial. Strong project management skills.
